Emilia‑Romagna funds €7 million for urban hub projects across dozens of towns
The Regione Emilia‑Romagna has approved regional funding for a series of "Hub Urbani" projects aimed at revitalising historic city centres and supporting local commerce. Municipalities such as Fiorano Modenese, Formigine, Sassuolo, Modena, Cattolica (via Bovio), Reggio Emilia, Guastalla, Correggio, Novellara, Campagnola, Scandiano and others each received €560,000, while Reggiolo was allocated €500,000. In the province of Ferrara four towns – Ferrara, Cento, Codigoro and Tresignana – each obtained €560,000 as part of a €2.24 million package. Rimini received €500,000 for its hub project. Altogether the regional programme, which totals €21 million for 43 projects, has now committed more than €7 million to these urban‑hub initiatives, covering urban renewal, support for neighbourhood businesses, promotional activities and digital‑innovation incentives.
