Casa Raízes cliffside residence unveiled in Trancoso, Brazil

The Casa Raízes residence, designed by Studio Gontijo Arquitetura, was completed on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Trancoso, Bahia, Brazil. The 1,474 m² home integrates the surrounding Atlantic Forest and provides private access to Itapororoca Beach via an exclusive trail. Lead architects Gabriela Gontijo, Mariana Hummel and Jade Ávila, together with a multidisciplinary team, emphasized a deep relationship with the terrain in the project’s concept.
