Casablanca police arrest two men in fake traffic fine scam
Police in Casablanca, Morocco, have arrested two men, aged 23 and 28, suspected of operating a fraudulent scheme involving fake traffic fines. The suspects allegedly sent SMS messages impersonating the National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) to claim individuals had unpaid fines.
The fraudulent messages directed victims to a website designed to mimic the official NARSA platform. During the operation, authorities seized dozens of SIM cards and various pieces of electronic equipment. An investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
