Cascavel: Elderly woman with Alzheimer's found injured after wandering

An 84-year-old woman with Alzheimer's was found injured and disoriented in the Brasília neighborhood of Cascavel, Paraná, during the early hours of Friday. The woman had left her home without her family noticing and suffered a fall.

Municipal Guard teams located the woman around 3:30 a.m. before her family had reported her missing. Due to her disorientation and physical injuries, SAMU medical teams provided first aid. After identifying the woman, authorities located her family, who confirmed her Alzheimer's diagnosis. She was transported to the Brasília Urgent Care Unit (UPA) for medical evaluation and care.
