Caseros, Argentina hosts 5th “Molino de Letras” Book Fair

On Friday, June 5, the Salón de Usos Múltiples (SUM) in Caseros opened the fifth edition of the “Molino de Letras” book fair. The event offered a range of literary activities for families, including author readings by Ricardo Contard, Mechita Daneri, El Bruno, Jonathan Fernández, Trinidad Rusconi, Belén Zavallo and Juan Martín Caraballo, as well as music performances.

Students and teachers from local primary schools participated in presentations, while secondary‑level participants joined creative workshops such as audiovisual communication, police‑and‑terror‑genre writing, and genealogical storytelling. The fair also featured an exhibition of publishers and booksellers, and a musical closing act by Damián Lemes.

The program continues on Saturday, June 6, with a morning audiovisual communication workshop led by Sabina Melchiori and an afternoon schedule of book presentations, genre‑writing workshops, genealogical writing sessions, and a musical show celebrating the award‑winning song “La Yuyera.”
