Cassino Villa Comunale dispute escalates as opposition demands technical investigations

Opposition councillors in Cassino, including Lega coordinator Arduino Incagnoli, PD member Paola Polidoro and others, have called for a pause on decisions regarding the Villa Comunale until forensic examinations are completed. They criticize Mayor Enzo Salera’s handling of the incident that rendered the public garden unusable and placed it under seizure, urging transparency and scientific data. The opposition also recalls earlier complaints about waste disposal and alleged illegal dumping during earlier construction phases, demanding that any health or heritage risks be fully assessed before further action.

Incagnoli and fellow councillors emphasise that the primary victims are the city’s residents, and they stress that the pending technical perizie should guide any future remedial measures.
