Castellers achieve historic milestones during Sant Magí in L'Arboç

The Sant Magí festival in L'Arboç featured a high-level display of castells (human towers) despite challenging heat and humidity exceeding 33 degrees Celsius. The event served as a major final test for various groups ahead of the Sant Fèlix festivities.

Castellers de Vilafranca led the performances, achieving a second 'gamma extra' poker of the weekend by successfully completing the 3d10fm, 5d9f, 4d9fa, and pd8fm. Colla Vella demonstrated technical control by successfully completing the 4d9sf, marking their tenth consecutive successful execution of this tower in this location.

Other notable achievements included the Jove de Tarragona recovering the 5d9f and completing the 2d9fm, 3d9f, and pd6. The Xiquets de Tarragona performed the 7d8, 4d9f, and 3d8. Additionally, Xiquets del Serrallo and Colla Castellera de Sant Pere i Sant Pau achieved historic milestones with successful completions of 8-story structures. Minyons de l'Arboç completed their classic 7-story sequence, including the 3d7, 4d7, and 2d6.
