Regional youth and summer programs report high participation across Spain and Andorra
Various regional governments and local authorities in Spain and Andorra have reported successful conclusions to summer youth and educational programs.
In Formentera, the Escola d’Estiu 2026 hosted 163 children across Sant Francesc, Sant Ferran, and La Mola, offering workshops in arts, sports, and cooking. In Castellón, youth activities reached over 5,000 students, with significant participation in psychological health programs and urban leisure events. Similarly, Las Rozas recorded 5,279 participants in its diverse programming, including the Club Joven and various social solidarity projects.
In Andalusia, the Federación Andaluza de Vela’s sailing school saw a record 1,300 students this summer, aided by the recovery of afternoon sessions. In Sant Jordi, municipal summer schools focused on sports and science-themed learning. Meanwhile, in Andorra la Vella, the third edition of the Curulla program provided 36 young people with professional experience within public administration departments.
