Regional summer youth, sports, and cultural programs

Overview

Summer programs and youth initiatives across Latin America and Europe have continued to conclude or expand. In Mexico, municipal governments in Cuautlancingo, Apizaco, and Quintana Roo completed courses in sports, culture, and health, with some programs providing free orthopedic supplies or identifying athletic talent. As the new academic term begins, cultural and community initiatives are launching across Spain. In Langreo, the Municipal Theatre School is starting a new term for participants aged 6 to 30. In Valencia, the Alquería de Félix is reopening to the public, preserving silk-producing heritage. Other regional developments include a sign language course in Aguilar de la Frontera to promote accessibility, the ‘Castellar Dialoga’ workshop in Castellar de la Frontera to involve youth in municipal decisions, and new second-semester programming at the Auditorio Ciudad de León.
