Castilla-La Mancha expands cultural funding and international outreach

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha is implementing several initiatives to promote and internationalize the region's cultural sector. A new call for subsidies has been launched with a budget of 300,000 euros to support cultural activities in rural areas. These grants, ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 euros, aim to diversify cultural offerings in smaller municipalities and foster territorial cohesion.

Additionally, the regional executive is working toward hosting the Bienal NOmade in 2027. To support this goal, the government is collaborating with international cultural managers through events like the Bienal Viral 2 in Toledo. This effort includes providing venues such as the Convento de Santa Fe and the Museo de Santa Cruz to showcase contemporary art, video art, and digital arts, while seeking to integrate local artists into international circuits.
