Castilla-La Mancha leaders propose expansion of regional craft promotion

At the XLV edition of the Farcama Regional Craft Fair in Toledo, regional leaders and political figures discussed the future of the artisan sector in Castilla-La Mancha.

President Emiliano García-Page announced plans to expand the reach of regional crafts by organizing major exhibitions in large cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville. To support the industry, the regional government is extending the coverage period for generational replacement in artisan workshops to six years.

Representing the Vox parliamentary group, spokesperson David Moreno presented a proposal aimed at protecting traditional trades. The package includes tax bonuses for professionals, direct production subsidies, the reduction of bureaucratic requirements, and the promotion of apprenticeships to ensure the continuity of local crafts.
