Castilla-La Mancha proposes doubling EU farm aid for youth; Castilla y León creates new health and social vice‑ministri​

The second vice‑president of Castilla‑La Mancha, José Manuel Caballero, announced that the regional government will request the European Union to raise the share of the Common Agricultural Policy devoted to generational renewal from the EU‑proposed 5 % to 10 %. The aim is to ensure that any young person wishing to enter agriculture receives sufficient financial support, even if they are not from a farming background.

The Junta of Castilla y León issued a decree establishing ten new vice‑ministries as part of a government reorganisation after the PP‑Vox coalition pact. Among these are a Vice Ministry of Health, attached to the newly formed Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, responsible for coordinating health assistance, digital health, infrastructure and system evaluation, and a Vice Ministry of Social Welfare, focused on care for the elderly, people with disabilities and dependent persons.
