Castilla-La Mancha to hire 25 professionals for dependency services

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has approved a temporary program to incorporate 25 professionals into provincial dependency services. With an investment of 982,428.36 euros, the initiative aims to accelerate the assessment of dependency levels and the development of Individual Care Programs (PIA) across the region's five provinces.

Spokesperson Esther Padilla stated that the reinforcement is intended to reduce response times and assist families in accessing necessary care more quickly. The program is also designed to prepare the regional system for upcoming changes brought about by the reform of the Dependency Law, which includes expanded service compatibilities and shorter recognition periods.

The temporary professional reinforcement is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2026, and will continue through October 2027.
