Castro, Brazil hosts free public screening of Brazil‑Norway World Cup match

On Sunday, July 5, the municipal government of Castro set up a free outdoor screen in the parking lot opposite Parque Lacustre. Residents were invited to bring chairs and watch Brazil’s round‑of‑16 match against Norway, which began at 17:00 local time. The event was open to families and organized by the Secretaria Municipal de Governo, with municipal guard teams providing security.

Organizers reminded attendees that glass containers and fireworks are prohibited under local ordinances, emphasizing a safe and orderly atmosphere for the community celebration.
