Catalan Castellers Stage Historic Performances in Cerdanyola and Barcelona

Catalan human‑tower groups held notable performances in the region this weekend. In Cerdanyola, the Castellers de Cerdanyola (also known as the Martinets) completed a series of structures including two 4‑column pillars, a 3‑of‑7, a 2‑of‑7 (the Torre de Set) which was their most complex climb, a 4‑of‑7 and a 5‑pillar. In Barcelona, the Castellers de Terrassa participated in two major diades, delivering a flawless 4‑of‑7 and 3‑of‑7 in the Eixample park and later achieving the first 7‑of‑7 in the history of the Esquerra de l'Eixample, followed by a 5‑of‑7 and 3‑of‑7 with the needle. Both groups also performed additional pillars and celebrated cultural heritage ties.
