Catalonia political parties form alliances for 2027 elections

Political parties in Catalonia are forming new alliances ahead of the May 2027 municipal elections. The Junts party is actively seeking to expand its influence by reunifying with former Convergent members.

In Mollerussa, Junts and Mollerussa Primer have established a coalition agreement with Anna Carné set to succeed Marc Solsona as candidate. In Solsona, the Treballem and Junts groups have agreed to run a joint candidacy led by Marc Barbens to challenge the current administration. Additionally, political movements are exploring a potential agreement in Balaguer.
