Catamarca hosts 8th National Meeting of Women Architects

San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca hosted the 8th National Meeting of Women Architects (EMA 8) from September 25 to 27. The event brought together approximately 160 registered architects, 25 speakers, and 48 students, with representatives arriving from 19 different provinces.

Over the course of three days, the gathering featured conferences, debates, workshops, and cultural activities focused on creating more inclusive, equitable, and democratic territories. Organizers noted that while over 200 people were directly mobilized, approximately 300 individuals were involved in the logistics and coordination of the event.

The meeting also supported local economic activity through the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism segment. The Municipal Tourism Observatory conducted a survey to assess the socioeconomic and hotel impact generated by the gathering.
