Cultural and professional events in Catamarca

Overview

San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca is hosting a series of cultural, professional, and academic events throughout late September and October.

In late September, the region hosted the ‘Vicegobernación Activa’ spring festival featuring diverse musical genres and the 18th Catamarca Book Fair, which included a performance by singer Fabiana Cantilo. Concurrently, the 8th National Meeting of Women Architects brought approximately 160 professionals and students together for workshops and debates focused on inclusive territories.

As October begins, the city continues its schedule with the 17th anniversary of the National and International Choral Meeting, ‘Catamarca da la nota’. The ongoing agenda also includes the XXVIII Argentine Consumer Rights Congress and various other professional gatherings, which are expected to bolster the local MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) tourism sector.
