Catamarca Police host historic visit of Virgen del Valle

The Catamarca Police held a historic religious event as the authentic image of Nuestra Señora del Valle visited the Police Sports Center on Route 38. This marks the first time the image has left the Sanctuary for such a visit since 2010.

Occurring during the traditional Fiesta de la Protección, the ceremony included high-ranking officials such as Diocesan Bishop Luis Urbanc, the Rector of the Sanctuary Juan Ramón Cabrera, and provincial security authorities. The event was attended by police officers from the central valley and provincial interior, including senior officers, cadets, retirees, and local residents.

A key highlight of the day was the blessing of the foundation stone for a future Police Chapel, which is planned for construction at the Tte. Gral. Juan Domingo Perón Cadet School.
