Catania hosts 2026 Fiera dei Morti festival

The Fiera dei Morti in Catania is scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 2, 2026. Located in the San Giuseppe La Rena area on via Amerigo Vespucci, the event features approximately 150 exhibitors, including artisanal products, commercial stands, and gastronomic areas.

The official inauguration is set for Sunday, October 25, at 10:00 AM, with the participation of local administration representatives and business operators. Operating hours will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM on holidays and pre-holidays, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays.

Due to the expected influx of visitors, the municipality has implemented a special traffic management plan. Significant road closures and transit restrictions will be in effect on via Amerigo Vespucci and via Forcile to accommodate the festival and stand assembly. Exceptions to these restrictions are provided for residents, emergency services, and individuals with disabilities.
