Major drug seizures across Italy, Colombia, Panama and Costa Rica
Italian law‑enforcement agencies carried out a series of drug busts. In Panama, a naval operation uncovered 530 concealed drug packages aboard a boat in the Colón region. Costa Rican judicial police (OIJ) raided a cabin in Cartago, arresting four men and seizing more than 1,000 kilogram‑size packages of cocaine, along with marijuana and cash. These coordinated actions represent a significant blow to trans‑national narcotics networks.
