Catanzaro businesses receive awards and new economic incentives

The Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro, Crotone, and Vibo Valentia has awarded Mario Moniaci System the 'Loyalty to Work and Economic Progress' award in the 'Economic Progress' category. The company, which has operated for over forty years, was recognized for its evolution from mechanical cash register repair to digital point-of-sale systems.

In a separate economic initiative, the Municipality of Catanzaro has announced two million euros in incentives to support new and existing businesses. Funded through the PR Calabria FESR FSE+ 2021-2027, the resources are divided into two main programs: 600,000 euros for integrated entrepreneurial projects in the historic center and 1.4 million euros for 'Neighborhood Businesses' in areas including Catanzaro Lido, Santa Maria, and Gagliano. These grants can cover up to 80% of eligible expenses to encourage urban revitalization and job creation.
