Catanzaro Police Repatriate Foreign National with Criminal Record

The Questura of Catanzaro carried out the repatriation of a foreign citizen who was the subject of an expulsion order. After the immigration office identified the individual – who had a final conviction for possessing false identification documents and was deemed irregular under Italian law – the police monitored his status and prepared the operation.

With the obstacles to immediate removal cleared and judicial validation from the Catanzaro Judge of Peace, the suspect was escorted to Rome‑Fiumicino airport and placed on a flight to his country of origin. The action highlights the police’s ongoing effort to enforce immigration regulations and safeguard public security.
