Catholic Church announces 2026-2027 formation programs

The Diocese and Catholic Action have announced training programs for the 2026-2027 period, focusing on pastoral councils and lay associations. Following the Synod of Bishops' guidance on communion, participation, and mission, the initiative aims to foster collaboration and shared missionary efforts within Christian communities through a three-year project.

In the Diocese of Cuneo-Fossano, the clerical formation schedule for late 2026 and early 2027 includes diverse educational methods. The program features film-based reflections, a spiritual retreat led by Fr. Fabio Baggio, and sessions on institutional updates. Notably, a training path regarding abuse and recognition processes within ecclesial realities will be presented in December 2026, targeting priests, laity, and educators involved in spiritual accompaniment and formation.
