Italy inaugurates new school facilities funded by PNRR

Various municipalities across Italy are inaugurating new or renovated educational facilities, largely funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and Next Generation EU.

In Bastardo, a school complex has received over 2.3 million euros for a new gymnasium and primary school canteen. Martinsicuro is opening a new nursery school following a 4.6 million euro investment, while Fermignano has completed the Mille Petali nursery, a nearly zero-energy building utilizing geothermal and photovoltaic power. In Tortona, a new primary school costing 8.5 million euros is set to open, with Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini scheduled to attend the ceremony.

Other regional developments include the inauguration of the Enrico Fermi middle school in Casina, designed for high energy efficiency, and the expansion of nursery services in Perugia. These projects aim to modernize school infrastructure, improve energy sustainability, and increase capacity for local student populations.
