CBI to initiate probe into Disha Salian death case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is set to initiate proceedings regarding the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. This follows an order from the Bombay High Court directing the CBI to register a First Information Report (FIR) and conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
Satish Salian, the father of the deceased, stated that he has provided investigators with a comprehensive account of the events and has named several individuals, including Aditya, Sooraj Pancholi, and Dino Morea, as part of his testimony. He expressed confidence that justice will be served, stating, “The truth cannot be defeated.”
Disha Salian was found dead on June 8, 2020, shortly before the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Bombay High Court previously raised concerns regarding why only an Accidental Death Report (ADR) had been registered instead of an FIR, despite family allegations of murder. The court also noted that the family had not received copies of the post-mortem report or the ADR in the five years following her death.
