CBSE to hold Class 12 exams in seven West Asian countries

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Class 12 board examinations in seven West Asian countries from October 23 to October 28, 2026. These exams are being organized for students who were dissatisfied with the results provided under a special evaluation scheme following the cancellation of previous exams due to regional conflict.

The affected countries include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The original cancellations impacted 40 subjects, including 20 academic papers.

According to Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bharadwaj, the board had previously notified a special evaluation plan on March 27 to manage results for regular students in the region. Students who wished to retake the missed subjects were invited to apply last month. Admit cards have been issued, and students can download them from the official website. The exams will be held in two shifts: the first from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
