Brazilian municipalities implement diverse urban and rural infrastructure projects
Various Brazilian municipalities are implementing diverse urban infrastructure and maintenance projects. In Curitiba, Mayor Eduardo Pimentel announced a new pedestrian walkway on Rua Conselheiro Laurindo to connect Praça Santos Andrade and Teatro Guaíra. In João Pessoa, the Seinfra department is conducting extensive pothole repairs, drainage cleaning, and public lighting maintenance across more than 50 neighborhoods, while also hosting cultural events in local parks.
In the rural sectors, the municipality of Cáceres is focusing on recovering vicinal roads to facilitate agricultural production and resident mobility. Similarly, Carambeí is progressing with the paving of the 4.6-kilometer Estrada do São João. Other regional updates include the construction of a new plaza in Wenceslau Guimarães, road maintenance on the BR-040 by EPR Via Mineira, and the revitalization of Praça Maria Cristina Aguiar Passos in Guarapari. Additionally, João Pessoa is advancing its School Management Framework through a partnership with Centro Lemann to improve public education quality.
