Brazilian municipal urban and rural infrastructure projects

Overview

Various Brazilian municipalities continue to implement diverse urban and rural infrastructure projects. In João Pessoa, Seinfra is performing pothole repairs, drainage cleaning, and lighting maintenance across 53 neighborhoods to prevent flooding, while also hosting cultural events in local parks. Sesuz maintains over 200 public squares, Emlur manages waste and vegetation, and Semob-JP has expanded traffic signaling and pedestrian crossing revitalization in 41 neighborhoods. Additionally, the city is collaborating with Centro Lemann to develop a School Management Framework aimed at improving public education leadership.

In Curitiba, Mayor Eduardo Pimentel announced a new pedestrian walkway on Rua Conselheiro Laurindo, intended to connect Praça Santos Andrade and Teatro Guaíra by the end of the year. In Wenceslau Guimarães, Mayor Gabriel de Parísio signed a service order for the construction of Praça Dermeval Lopes, while Guarapari has revitalized Praça Maria Cristina Aguiar Passos with new sports facilities and playgrounds. Road maintenance is also being conducted on the BR-040 by EPR Via Mineira.

Rural and logistical improvements continue in Mato Grosso and Paraná. In Carambeí, asphalt paving is advancing on the 4.6-kilometer Estrada do São João, a project valued at over R$ 8 million that serves as a critical route for local producers.
