Cultural festivals and musical commemorations held in Spain, Colombia, and Paraguay
Various cultural festivals and commemorative events are taking place across Spain, Colombia, and Paraguay.
In Spain, the Brion Folk Festival features music, historical reenactments, and traditional gastronomy. The Revoltallo festival in Valladares returns for its 33rd edition with free access to music, circus, and magic. Additionally, the 30th edition of the Folk Plasencia International Festival has commenced in Plasencia, drawing crowds to Torre Lucía for roots music.
In Colombia, the third edition of the Festival Vallenato al Parque is being held in Bogotá at Parque Simón Bolívar. The event features prominent artists and includes solidarity points to collect aid for earthquake victims.
In Paraguay, activities are organized to honor the legacy of José Asunción Flores, the creator of the guarania genre. The program includes photographic exhibitions in Asunción and a theatrical performance titled ‘Guarania’ to celebrate his life and musical contributions.
