Cedevita Olimpija prepares for EuroCup under Zvezdan Mitrović

Zvezdan Mitrović is entering his third season as head coach of Cedevita Olimpija. The team is preparing for domestic competition, the ABA League, and the EuroCup. Mitrović noted that the EuroCup has become significantly more competitive this year with an expanded field of 32 participants.

Due to budget constraints and Slovenian tax legislation, the club is focusing on developing unproven players rather than signing experienced veterans. Mitrović stated that while the departure of top players to larger contracts is a challenge, it serves as a motivator for young talent to join the club. The team is placed in EuroCup Group A alongside Le Mans, Hapoel Jerusalem, Burgos, Girona, Aris, Rostock, and Riga.
