Ceilândia police arrest armed robber following lumber yard heist

The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) arrested a man following an armed robbery at a lumber yard in Ceilândia. The suspect, who was serving a semi-open sentence, had reportedly left the Center for Penitentiary Progression (CPP) only hours before the crime.

During the robbery, two armed men forced employees to the ground and stole five mobile phones and a gold chain. Following a collision between the victim's vehicle and the suspects' motorcycle, the criminals fled on foot. Police located the suspect at a bus stop, where they recovered a .38 caliber revolver with a filed-off serial number and six bullets. Several stolen items were recovered during the operation.
