Celta de Vigo salary limit reduced to 88 million euros

Celta de Vigo has seen its salary limit reduced by three million euros for the 2026/2027 season, bringing the total to approximately 88.09 million euros, including the reserve team. This decrease follows a summer period where the club made no player sales for the first time in thirteen years. Celta currently holds the ninth position in the LaLiga salary ranking.

Separately, LaLiga President Javier Tebas attended an event in A Coruña to renew the sponsorship agreement between LaLiga and Luckia through 2029. During the visit, Tebas commented on the economic standing of Deportivo La Coruña, noting that the club's salary limit is appropriately positioned to support its objectives and recent transfer activity.
