Celta Vigo signs winger Couhaib Driouech from PSV Eindhoven
Celta Vigo has officially signed winger Couhaib Driouech from PSV Eindhoven on a four-year contract that runs until June 30, 2030. The transfer fee is reported to be between €6 million and €7 million.
Driouech, a 24-year-old Moroccan international born in the Netherlands, is a versatile attacker capable of playing on both the left and right wings. He joins the Spanish side following a successful period at PSV, where he won two Dutch championships and a Dutch Super Cup. He also gained notable experience in the UEFA Champions League, scoring goals against Liverpool and Napoli.
Celta Vigo manager Claudio Giráldez expects the signing to provide depth, speed, and technical ability to the team's attacking options. Driouech becomes the club's fifth signing of the current transfer window, though he represents their first major expenditure in fees this summer.
