By August 23, Celta Vigo had reached a verbal agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign Driouech for a fee between €7 million and €8 million. While Rangers withdrew due to concerns over a muscle injury, PSV and Celta Vigo maintained the injury was minor. The winger was left out of PSV’s squad for their match against FC Groningen to facilitate the move. On August 25, Celta Vigo officially announced the signing of Driouech from PSV Eindhoven.
