Celtas Cortos to perform in Ferrol as part of summer festival

The Fiestas de Ferrol summer festival in Ferrol, Spain, continues its musical programming at the Plaza de Armas. The Spanish rock band Celtas Cortos is scheduled to perform a free concert to celebrate their 40th anniversary as part of their ‘40 años contando cuentos’ tour. The group is expected to perform well-known hits such as ‘Cuéntame un cuento’ and ‘No nos podrán parar’.

Previous performances in the festival lineup included Budiño, a prominent figure in contemporary Galician music known for fusing tradition with modern melodies, and the Galician folk group De Ninghures. De Ninghures, which recently won an Independent Music Award for their album ‘Feira’, presented a repertoire influenced by various cultures from the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America, and the Maghreb.
