Centalion Group rebrands and moves headquarters to Singapore

Global commodities trader Gunvor, now rebranded as Centalion Group, has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters from Cyprus to Singapore. The decision follows a management buyout completed in December 2025 and aims to leverage Singapore’s legal, financial, and trading infrastructure. While the headquarters will relocate, the company intends to maintain trading hubs in Geneva, Houston, Calgary, London, and Stamford.

As part of its expansion, Centalion is acquiring approximately $1.5 billion in natural gas assets from Silver Hill Energy Partners. This acquisition includes 72,000 acres in the Haynesville Basin across Louisiana and Texas, producing roughly 300 million cubic feet of gas per day. The move is driven by rising demand for natural gas from data centers and increased global demand for U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG).
