Centar Municipality to provide free school uniforms for students

The Municipality of Centar has announced the continuation of its program to provide free school uniforms for all students from first to ninth grade across its eight municipal primary schools for the 2026/2027 school year.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski stated that the initiative aims to reduce social disparities and prevent bullying by ensuring students are judged on their merit rather than their socioeconomic status. Each student will receive a set of five cotton items, including two collared shirts, two long-sleeved collared shirts, and one zippered sweatshirt.

Additionally, the municipality will provide free backpacks to all first-grade students enrolled in the municipal schools to support families and facilitate a smooth transition into the school system.
