Central banks in Russia and Iran update official exchange rates
The Central Bank of Russia has adjusted its official US dollar exchange rate to 84.43 roubles, a slight increase of two kopecks from the previous day. Concurrently, the bank lowered the official euro rate by 19 kopecks to 96.06 roubles. Analysts suggest the rouble remains stable due to high international oil prices, tight monetary policy, and upcoming tax payments from exporters.
In Iran, the Central Bank of Iran released official exchange rates for September 30, reporting fluctuations across various currencies. The official rate for one US dollar was set at 1,741,819 rials, while the euro was valued at 1,974,353 rials. The data indicated that the value of 39 currencies increased while 7 fell compared to the previous day.
