Central Java MTQ delegation receives bonuses and Umrah trips

The Central Java delegation received various rewards following their performance at the XXXI National Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) in 2026. The group secured 36 titles across different categories, including eight first-place finishes, seven second-place finishes, and 15 third-place finishes.

Governor Ahmad Luthfi presented the awards during a thanksgiving event in Semarang. First-place winners received Rp50 million in development funds along with an Umrah trip valued at Rp50 million. Other prize tiers included Rp40 million for second place, Rp30 million for third place, and varying amounts for honorable mentions ranging from Rp10 million to Rp20 million.

In addition to the provincial government's contributions, Baznas Central Java provided an additional Rp282 million in bonuses to the delegation. The appreciation also extended to participants who did not secure titles.
