Indonesia’s Major Regions Expect Mostly Clear Skies with Isolated Showers on June 18‑20, 2026

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued weather forecasts for several key areas in Indonesia. In Jakarta and the surrounding Jabodetabek region, conditions are expected to remain sunny to partly cloudy from the morning of June 18 through the night of June 20, with temperatures ranging from 24 °C to 33 °C.

In Central Java, including the capital Semarang, the forecast is largely sunny to partly cloudy, but light rain is possible in mountainous districts such as Banyumas, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, Wonosobo, Temanggung, Slawi, Bumiayu and Majenang. Temperatures will vary between 19 °C and 34 °C, with humidity up to 95 %. Coastal areas of northern Central Java (Pantura) are warned of potential rob (shore‑line) flooding and sea‑level rise, and wave heights are predicted at 0.5‑1.25 m in the north and 1.25‑2.5 m in the south, prompting caution for vessels and fishermen.
