Central Railway announces Mumbai mega block for September 13

Central Railway has announced a scheduled mega block on Sunday, September 13, for engineering and maintenance work across parts of the Mumbai suburban rail network. The disruptions will primarily affect the Main Line and the Trans-Harbour Line.

On the Main Line, a five-hour block will occur on the Up and Down slow lines between Thane and Kalyan from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this window, slow and semi-fast services will be diverted to the fast lines between Mulund and Kalyan, with expected delays of approximately 10 minutes. Services traveling to or from CSMT are also expected to experience similar delays.

Trans-Harbour services will face more significant disruptions, with all Up and Down services between Thane and Vashi/Nerul suspended from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM. However, services on the Harbour, Uran, and Western lines are expected to operate according to their regular schedules.
