Central Railway mega block between Thane and Kalyan on September 20

Central Railway will implement a mega block on the 5th and 6th lines between Thane and Kalyan stations on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The maintenance and engineering work is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

During this period, several mail and express trains will be diverted to the up and down fast lines, resulting in delays of approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Affected services include the Solapur-CSMT Vande Bharat Express, Pune-CSMT Deccan Queen, Pune-CSMT Sinhagad Express, and the Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Mail, among others.

MEMU services will also face adjustments. The Vasai Road-Diva MEMU (61003) will short-terminate at Kopar, while the Diva-Vasai Road MEMU (61004) will short-originate from Kopar. Consequently, MEMU services between Diva and Kopar will be suspended during the block. Main, Harbour, Trans-Harbour, and Western Railway lines will remain unaffected.
