Central Vigilance Commission launches digital portal for online clearances

The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has launched the Vigilance Status Portal to digitize the submission and processing of vigilance clearances from various Indian Ministries and Departments.

Launched on July 27, 2026, the portal aims to increase transparency and efficiency by enabling real-time tracking and reducing physical paperwork. The CVC has mandated that all relevant references and applications be uploaded through this digital platform, noting that physical or email submissions will no longer be accepted. The initiative is intended to create greater uniformity in how government departments submit clearance proposals to the Commission.
