Centro Dragão do Mar in Fortaleza hosts major cultural festivals and concerts

The Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura in Fortaleza is staging a series of high‑profile cultural events. From July 28 to August 2, the venue will present the XX Festival de Esquetes by Cia. Teatral Acontece, a 40‑year career concert by regional musician Moacir Bedê, the launch of the book “Atemoia” with an author signing, and a variety of free cinema screenings, including the short‑film project Se Achegue! and the feature film “Ecos do Teatro Experimental do Negro”. The week also features the Feria Fuxico and a vinyl market, bringing together creative‑economy entrepreneurs.

Later in August, on the 22nd, the venue will host the Porão do Rock Festival, where Brazilian rapper‑singer Criolo will debut his new tour. His performance will be accompanied by acts such as Rodox, Trampa, Lucas Inutilismo, Guizão and Conti, showcasing a blend of rap, hip‑hop, samba and MPB. Tickets for the Criolo concert start at R$149 and are sold through the Meu Bilhete platform.
