Centrum BAZALKA opens new residential facility for disabled clients

Centrum BAZALKA has officially opened a new residential facility in Nové Vrátě, České Budějovice, designed for 18 clients with severe combined disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. The facility provides year-round care for individuals aged 10 to 50, offering specialized support and continuous supervision.

The South Bohemian Region contributed 8 million CZK toward the construction of the low-energy, barrier-free building. The complex is divided into four separate households, with each resident having their own room. The facility also includes a professional kitchen, physiotherapy spaces, quiet rooms, and staff facilities.

South Bohemian Governor Martin Kuba stated that the regional contribution aims to provide security for families of children with severe health disadvantages. He also noted that the region is prepared to provide economic support for the ongoing operation of the facility.
