Pinarella murder: Four suspects remain in custody after court hearing

Four young men, aged 19 to 23, remain in custody following a validation hearing at the Forlì court regarding the murder of 54-year-old Nicola Musiani. Musiani died on July 22 after being brutally assaulted near a nightclub in Pinarella di Cervia on the night of July 18-19.

The suspects—Oussama Ragme, 22; Conor Finn Long, 19; Houssam Abir, 22; and Bilal Mahboubi, 23—face charges of aggravated homicide for futile motives. During the hearing, three of the suspects admitted to being present at the scene but denied participating in the fatal beating. The fourth suspect, Houssam Abir, exercised his right to remain silent. Defense lawyers argued that the suspects arrived during an ongoing brawl involving multiple other groups, suggesting they were not the primary aggressors.

Investigators are continuing to reconstruct the events, which reportedly involved Musiani being struck with punches, kicks, and a vodka bottle. The probe is looking into the involvement of a fifth adult and a minor who may have initiated the altercation. Judge Massimo De Paoli rejected requests for house arrest, ordering all four to remain in prison.
