On 15 August, an 84-year-old man, Giorgio Musiani, was assaulted in the same Pinarella parking area where his son was killed. He reported being punched in the nose by a young man during an attempted bicycle theft. Authorities are investigating whether this was an isolated incident or a targeted warning.
