Cervia homicide investigation: Suspects blame 16-year-old

Suspects in the death of 53-year-old Nicola Musiani, who died following an incident in Pinarella di Cervia on July 22, are accusing one another of responsibility. Two of the four individuals currently in custody, aged between 19 and 23, claim that a 16-year-old is the actual perpetrator.

According to the statements, the minor allegedly boasted about the killing and threatened the older suspects, claiming he would be protected due to his age. Because of his status as a minor, the investigation into him has been transferred from the Ravenna Prosecutor's Office to the Bologna Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.

Among those detained, Oussama Ragme has faced scrutiny following a trip to Morocco between July 22 and August 6, which investigators believe was motivated by fear of involvement in the crime. Other suspects, including 19-year-old Conor Finn Long, also point to the minor as the sole responsible party. Defense arguments suggest the victim was struck by a group member attempting to disarm him with a knife, an item that remains missing. Authorities are also reviewing a new video recording of the initial assault and are searching for a fifth adult potentially involved in the incident.
