Cesc Fàbregas explains decision to sign Tasos Douvikas

Como 1907 manager Cesc Fàbregas has revealed the reasoning behind his decision to sign striker Tasos Douvikas. Speaking at a sports festival in Trento, Fàbregas highlighted the player's mentality as a deciding factor.

Fàbregas noted that after analyzing the team's performance during the first half of the season, the squad lacked finishing ability and physical strength in duels against certain defenders. He sought a player with the power to score and a strong work ethic. Fàbregas praised Douvikas for his constant desire to improve, stating that the player frequently asks for feedback after matches to identify mistakes and areas for growth.

Douvikas, who has scored two goals in his first five matches of the season under Fàbregas, recently completed international duty with appearances against Serbia and the Netherlands, including a winning goal against Serbia.
